The “magic” and process behind BodyTite
RFAL™ is delivered precisely to targeted fatty areas via a tiny incision. The technology triggers a process whereby heat is generated to melt away the fat gently. The damaged fat cells are then removed. As needed, Dr. Kirwan may recommend that BodyTite be combined with liposuction to take fat reduction to the next level. BodyTite may precede liposuction; when fat is pre-melted, its removal is less traumatic. This approach is associated with a better-tolerated procedure. Swelling is also minimized. It is considered a more appealing and comfortable alternative to traditional liposuction alone.
In addition to removing fatty tissue, BodyTite also safely and precisely targets saggy tissue. The controlled heat that is generated combines with RF energy to tighten and strengthen the firming collagen protein in the dermis or deeper skin layer.
Due to the built-in features and design of the BodyTite system, patients report minimal discomfort afterward. In fact, little more than Tylenol is typically needed for comfort.
