At Kirwan Plastic Surgery, we do things a little differently. We don’t believe in making patients wait endlessly for their appointments. So we don’t double-book, overbook, or book 15 minutes for a 30 minute appointment. We don’t schedule more than 2 surgeries per day. For larger procedures, like facelifts, you will be the only patient that day.
Dr. Kirwan will personally attend to you at each and every one of your follow-ups, from the day after surgery to the day you are discharged from his care.

WHY A LIP LIFT?
This photograph shows how the soft tissue measurements and relationships of the upper lip skin and vermilion are changed with lip shortening and fat injection to the lips. The upper teeth are more visible, and the entire mouth area is rejuvenated.
- A long upper lip can be an inherited facial feature, just like a big nose or thin lips, and may have no relationship to age.
- The upper lip usually lengthens with age.
- A lip lift can reduce the signs of aging in the lower face.
- The upper lip vermilion should be smaller than the lower lip vermilion.
- The philtral columns should be well defined in a youthful lip.
- Dr. Kirwan typically performs lips lifts in the office under local anesthesia. The scar is hidden at the base of the nose.
- A lip lift shortens the upper lip skin and make the upper lift project more. The upper teeth are more visible (dental show) and there is a space between the lips at rest.
HOW MUCH IS A LIP LIFT?
A standalone lip lift costs $7000 performed under local anesthesia. Please add $1500 for IV sedation, $3500 for general anesthesia and facility fees.
