Historically, the open brow lift has involved making larger incisions along the hairline, which are visible after healing. The endoscope is introduced through tiny openings around two centimeters (less than an inch) in length. These minimal incisions are also well-camouflaged behind the hairline. Incisions at the midline and planned arches can be repositioned, so they are optimally hidden behind the hair as it falls naturally or per your styling preferences. Additional incisions (about 4 centimeters or 1.5 inches in length) are made on each side of the head above the ear to access the outermost part of the eyebrows.
